PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

A 50 micron (2.0 mil) high tensile strength aluminum foil tape using  a high-performance acrylic adhesive with an easy-peel-off release paper.

APPLICATIONS:

HVAC industry for joining and sealing Foil-Scrim-Kraft Facing,  laminated fiberglass blanket, duct board joints and seams; joining and sealing flexible air duct seams and connections. These tapes could be used for other industrial applications requiring similar characteristics and features.

STORAGE & SHELF LIFE:

Although these tapes generally last longer, one year shelf life is ideal when stored at 21 °C (70 °F), 50% relative humidity and out of direct exposure to sunlight.

SURFACE PREPARATION:
As with all pressure-sensitive tapes, it is essential that the surface to which the tape will be applied must be clean, dry, free of grease, oil, dust or other contaminants.

PRODUCT USE:
It is the user's responsibility to evaluate the product to determine whether it is fit for the particular purpose and method of application. Best results obtained when applied to clean and dry surfaces.
