PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

SINO-STAR FDT series metallized film tapes are high performance products designed to meet UL 181B-FX requirements. This series uses  acrylic adhesive and high quality film delivering a user-friendly, thin but strong and long-lasting tape for duct closure and other suitable applications. The wide service temperature range makes it suitable for any conceivable installation environment for flexible ducts and connectors. The STAR-EDGE feature that comes along with the FDT series of tapes ensures quick installation and thereby increases efficiency and reduces costs.

APPLICATIONS:

Joining and sealing of foil facing for building insulation, flexible ducts closure and other applications where this product may be suitable for use.

Above products are available in metallized silver finish as well as in black.

STORAGE & SHELF LIFE:

Although these tapes generally last longer, one year shelf life  is ideal when stored at 21 °C (70 °F), 50% relative humidity and out of direct exposure to sunlight.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

As with all pressure-sensitive tapes, it is essential that the surface to which the tape will be applied must be clean, dry, free of grease, oil, dust or other contaminants.

PRODUCT USE:

It is the user's responsibility to evaluate the product to determine whether it is fit for the particular purpose and method of application. Good results will be obtained when applied to a clean and dry surface.
