PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Polyethylene film with fabric reinforcement utilizing a high performance synthetic rubber pressure sensitive adhesive, featuring high tensile strength and easy cut-off or tearing.

APPLICATIONS:

General purpose applications as in carpet, plumbing, sealing and other industrial applications. It is also used in HVAC industry for joining and sealing cloth-faced fiberglass blankets, joints and seams; joining and sealing flexible air duct seams and connections. May also be used for other industrial uses requiring a tape with these characteristics and features.

STORAGE & SHELF LIFE:

Although these tapes generally last longer, one year shelf life  is ideal when stored at 21 °C (70 °F), 50% relative humidity and out of direct exposure to sunlight.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

As with all pressure-sensitive tapes, it is essential that the surface to which the tape will be applied must be clean, dry, and free of grease, oil, dust or other contaminants.

PRODUCT APPLICATION:

Ideal application temperature range for this series of tapes is 10°C-40°C (50°F-150°F), however, it could be applied at lower temperatures.   As with all PSA products, it is the users’ responsibility to evaluate the product to determine whether it is fit for the particular purpose, conditions and methods of application.
