SINO-THERM offers a wide variety of facing materials used as vapor barriers for fiberglass insulation products such as duct wraps, boards and liners. The same materials may be used to insulate acoustic ceilings, walls and other materials for which these products are suitable for use. SINO-THERM also supplies various films for the building insulation industry, such as PET, BOPP, MYLAR, and other specialty products.

The most common facing materials are:

ASJ – this is typically constructed of  select white kraft paper as facing and substrate of aluminum foil with fiberglass scrim reinforcement.

FSK – this is typically constructed of aluminum foil facing and substrate of kraft paper with fiberglass scrim reinforcement.

 **** F-101 – this FSK is generally used for facing of Duct Wraps
 **** F-102 – this FSK is generally used for facing of Duct Boards

PPK – this is typically constructed of Polypropylene film facing and substrate of kraft paper

PSK – this is typically constructed of Polypropylene film facing and substrate of kraft paper with fiberglass scrim reinforcement

Other facing materials are offered subject to customer’s request and specifications.
