SINO-THERM Duct Liner is made of long, highly resilient fiberglass bonded by thermoset resin. This product boasts excellent acoustic insulation properties which is one if not the best in the industry.
SINO-THERM Duct Liners offer an economical yet very efficient means to damper vibration and absorbs noise which otherwise would be a major nuissance to occupants specially in buildings with central airconditioning systems. The excellent sound absorption properties of SINO-THERM Duct Liners offer attenuation of noise, air flow, cross-talk, and dampening vibration from airconditioning equipment,.
The most commonly used Duct Liners in the HVAC industry is the 1” (25mm) thick for medium to high frequency sound attenuation. Practice proves better attenuation is achieved with thicker ductliners, specially for lower frequencies.
In addition to sound attenuation, duct liners also contribute in energy conservation by limiting heat loss in heating systems, or heat gain in cooling systems. Duct Liners also serve as vapor barriers in air ducts.
As in all new installations, the airstream of duct systems should be purged, thoroughly cleaned and in clean-room applications, proper filtration system needs to be employed.
Applications:
SINO-THERM Duct Liners are used for lining HVAC ducting interiors, inside walls and ceilings of housing for noise-generating equipment such as air handling units, and similar applications. It can also be used as acoustic liner for studios, theaters, and similar environment where noise or sound needs to be attenuated, or dampened.
Facing Materials
SINO-THERM Duct Liners are offered with a variety of facing materials including woven and non-woven glass fabric and other alternative materials to customer specifications. The facing materials match the fiberglass properties for flammability as well as resistance to microbial growth.
